For the third year in a row, VEGA Americas – a global leader in the field of process instrumentation – will sponsor the Stammtisch series of the European American Chamber of Commerce Greater Cincinnati (EACC) in 2021. Stammtisch (a German word meaning ‘regulars’ table’) is a German tradition of friends and colleagues gathering regularly for conversation and fellowship, and the EACC’s Stammtisch brings together friends and colleagues from across the European and American business community to build and strengthen connections and relationships.
“2020 was a challenging year for the Stammtisch,” said Ron Foltz, Manufacturing Manager at VEGA Americas and a member of the EACC’s Austrian-Swiss-German Committee which hosts the Stammtisch. “Connecting in person is part of the charm of the Stammtisch, but I applaud the EACC staff for making the on-line events engaging and fun.” VEGA Americas Co-CEO John Kronenberger added: “We are proud to be part of the EACC; the opportunity EACC programs like the Stammtisch provide to build connections and tell our story are invaluable.”
VEGA Americas is a subsidiary of VEGA Grieshaber KG, a German based global process instrumentation company that specializes in the manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of products that measure level, density, pressure, and weight. Dayna O’Brien, EACC Operations Manager said: “Launching the Virtual Stammtisch was the logical option during the pandemic and has largely been well received. But we will of course be happy to return to our traditional home at the Hofbräuhaus Newport when conditions permit.”
