Meet New EACC Board Secretary

At our annual general meeting on November 17, 2022, the EACC membership elected Cierra Clymer to serve as Board Secretary. The two-year term runs through the end of 2024.  We're pleased to introduce Cierra to the EACC Greater Cincinnati network.

Cierra Clymer is the Director of International Business Development and Inclusion at REDI Cincinnati. Cierra's role focuses on increasing foreign direct investment in the Greater Cincinnati region through new attraction, expansion and retention efforts as well as driving the organization’s diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy. During her time at REDI Cincinnati, Cierra supported the efforts to win foreign direct investments from Italian manufacturer – Modula – and Spanish manufacturer – Saica. Additionally, she has helped launch the organization’s first global digital advertising campaign to raise awareness of the Cincinnati region across Europe and Asia.  Cierra has also worked closely with the project management team to support 50 companies with underrepresented ownership via the JobsOhio’s Inclusion Grant as well as drive an organizational DE&I strategy. On behalf of REDI Cincinnati, Cierra serves on the Executive Committees for the Cincinnati Chapter of the European American Chamber of Commerce, and the Japan America Society. Ensuring there is a community that embraces international cultures is critical when it comes to companies’ decisions to locate new operations, so supporting the EACC in its mission is an obvious way to increase foreign direct investment to the region.

Cierra is a graduate of Cincy Next as well as a certified equity leader via YWCA’s Rising Star program. Moreover, Cierra received her Ohio Economic Development Certification and is recognized as a ‘best-in-class’ throughout the state. Personally, Cierra serves on the advocacy committee of YWCA Greater Cincinnati. In her free time, you can find her exploring the region’s latest bars and restaurants with her husband, Tony.
