Dear EACC Members,
My name is Claudia Schroeder, and I am the new Interim Operations Manager while Dayna O’Brien is on maternity leave.
I was born and raised in Duesseldorf, Germany, and began my career with Kempinski Hotels, for which I traveled all over the world to train sales and marketing staff on our systems. I later led customer service departments and call centers for a wellness company, a fitness club chain and a medical technology company in Europe.
In 2007, my husband, Thorsten, and I moved to Belgium, where our daughter, Lena, was born. Nine years later, an intra-company transfer for Thorsten brought us to Greater Cincinnati. We now reside in Florence, Ky., and Lena attends Villa Madonna Academy.
Outside of work — and attending my daughter’s dance and golf events — I enjoy running, cooking and traveling. I have completed 10 marathons and one ultra-marathon and am currently training for this fall’s Chicago Marathon. I also volunteer as a cook at Mary Rose Mission in Florence. I love to help people, which is why I am so excited to have joined the EACC team!
