Prominently situated in Smale Riverfront Park adjacent to the Banks lifestyle development, the Moerlein Lager House offers a guest experience unlike any other - a working microbrewery producing a full line of craft brews, delectable fare. In 2022, Moerlein Lager House Restaurant & Brewery brings to life the Servatii Cincinnati Christkindlmarkt with European magic and cincinnati Flare to Smale Riverfront Park’s Schmidlapp Event Lawn and Stage. The event will be open every Thursday thru Saturday thru December 31st with a New Year’s Eve celebration.
Chirstkindlmarkt is a European seasonal market traditionally held during Advent, offering food, drink, and seasonal items for sale from open-air stalls, accompanied by traditional choral singing, lighted decorations, and entertainment. Authentic cuckoo clocks, nutcrackers, ornaments, candies, and much more will be available for sale. Personalized Christmas stockings and ornaments can be made on site. Warm Glühwein, a 
staple at Christkindlmarkts, will be available throughout the market.

The Christkindlmarkt will offer hospitality Igloos for rent for groups of up to 14. The Igloos are transparent, furnished, and heated and offer views of the market at Christmas Tree Square. They can be reserved at www.cincinnatichristkindlmarkt.com.
Cincinnati’s German Heritage Museum has been named as the honoree for the forthcoming Servatii Cincinnati Christkindlmarkt at the Moerlein Lager House. The museum focuses on German heritage, especially of those German-American in the Greater Cincinnati area. A commemorative event pin will be available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds going to the museum.
