EACC Hosts 2020 Beaujolais Nouveau Nouveau

Despite the best efforts of the COVID-19 pandemic to derail our plans, the Cincinnati Chapter of the European American Chamber of Commerce (EACC) held a very unusual but successful Beaujolais Nouveau Nouveau celebration on Thursday, November 19.  Our original intent had been to gather a few small groups in individual salons at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza, with other groups and individuals joining from their homes, offices or other venues, and connecting everyone via teleconference.  However, on the morning of Tuesday, November 17 we made the decision to shift to a completely remote event, and over the course of two days we completely overhauled our plans to accommodate the change.  The praise received from attendees is a testament to both the flexibility of the EACC and to the value we can generate for members:

The event featured performances of the French and U.S. National Anthems by members of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra; the world premiere of an introductory video from our Presenting Sponsor Altix Consulting (see below), and an insightful presentation and Q&A session with French Consul General Guillaume Lacroix.  We even had a brief presentation to address one of the questions we get most frequently about this event – what is Beaujolais Nouveau?
