EACC Behind the Scenes: 2022 Events

I am so excited to have taken on the role as Director of Events & Projects for the EACC and would like to take this opportunity to give you an insight into what we have prepared and also ask for your feedback.  Our goal is to provide a broad range of programs that are accessible, engaging, and that add value to your business.

Over the past weeks we have been busy planning our 2022 events calendar and adding new events and features. Just last week we had our inaugural “Coffee & Commerce” breakfast meeting at Hotel Covington, a monthly series which will (for now) alternate between in-person and virtual meetings. Candace McGraw, CEO at CVG Airport, gave the audience a wonderful overview of the impact of the airport across our region and the impact we can have as local businesses.

Our monthly Stammtisch will have a new feature, called “Stammtisch on the Road.”. We will take our successful monthly networking opportunity to Mason and Hamilton to extend our reach and go where you are. So beside the monthly meetings at the Hofbräuhaus in Newport, we will be meeting you here:

August 4, 2022 Sonder Brewing Mason, OH

Our Annual Gala (with Her Excellency Karin Olofsdotter, Ambassador of Sweden to the United States) will take us to a new place this year, a place which really gets me excited, join us on May 25, 2022, in the Ballroom at MUSIC HALL. What a wonderful venue, I hope you will all join us and celebrate our organization and this great year we will have together.

We also have our 4 Executive Roundtables going strong. CEO, CFO, HR and Sales & Marketing Executives from operating/manufacturing companies meet regularly to share best practices and build new connections. These sessions are by invitation only: if you are interested in joining one of these, please contact us and we will try to find the right fit.

Overall, this is an exciting year, we really hope to have more and more events in person, but we will always be cautious of future Covid surges (or weather).

Most importantly, I would like to ask you for your feedback and input. Let me know what you like, what you do not like, and your ideas for new events and topics we can add to our calendar, making your experience as an EACC member even better.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve you. It is very much appreciated.

Yours,

Claudia Schroeder
