EACC Accounting Manager Joanna Deri to Retire
This month’s EACC Behind the Scenes is bittersweet. As some of you may know, EACC Accounting Manager Joanna Deri is set to retire at the end of this month.
Joanna has truly been instrumental to the organization’s success and continued growth over the last several years. Whether it was creating membership invoices, taking care of deposits, reconciling bank statements or helping at Beaujolais Nouveau Premiere and the Annual Gala, Joanna always jumped right in! We are so grateful for her enthusiasm, dedication, and adaptability…no matter what came her way!
On a personal note, Joanna and I both started at the EACC in 2015, and over the last five years, our morning chats on Tuesdays and Thursdays (her days in the office) became highlights of my week. Even once the pandemic hit this year and we transitioned to working from home, it was wonderful to connect virtually over Microsoft Teams.
Todd and I would like to send our sincerest thanks to Joanna for all of her hard work and for her friendship. We look forward to hearing what retirement has in store for her and her husband Thomas (and their new puppy Pablo)!
