Greater Cincinnati is a major hub for the global marketplace. Over 450 foreign-owned businesses operate in our market, and just about every company in our region is doing business internationally or has aspirations to grow globally.
To successfully navigate these waters, we must understand and respect the uniqueness of each country’s business culture, taboos, and values. Women empowering themselves with cultural intelligence (CQ) is critical to setting our gender apart with excellence and business savviness. Relations with foreign counterparts will be enhanced on several levels, whether our interactions are abroad or here domestically with international clients, colleagues, or vendors.
Culture hides more than it reveals. Being intuitive to the difference in communication styles, cues, taboos and personality types, will empower you to forge stronger relationships and have a distinct advantage in business relationships. This engaging presentation by certified corporate etiquette and international protocol expert, Tiffany Adams, President of the Cincinnati Etiquette & Leadership Institute, LLC (CELI), will explore the importance of workplace harmony in a global marketplace and the need for cultural diversity of thought.
